Come out and celebrate the 4th of July with the Mt. Juliet Running Club. The dusk run will start at 7:00 PM. There will be plenty of activities to keep little ones busy until the fireworks start. There will be a FREE run for the little ones. It will be .5 of a mile and is meant to show all young runners regardless of age that running is Fun. There will be no awards or t-shirts given for the fun run and it will not be timed. Parents can push children in a stroller or pull in a wagon, as long as you start at the back of the pack. The runs will take place on the Providence trail starting by Rutland Elementary. The 5k will be chip timed and held rain or shine. There will be a porta potty on site.
No worries about getting a parking spot to the watch fireworks, you will be able to see them from the race starting/end point.
Packet pick up:
There will be early packet pick up at Dicks Sporting Goods in Providence July 3, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 pm and race day July 4th from 5:00-6:50 pm.
Race day schedule:
6:45 pm the fun run will start
7:00 pm the 5k will start
8:00 pm the awards ceremony begin
Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome as well as pets as long as they are current on their vaccinations and friendly to people of ALL ages. Strollers are welcome as well, but they are encouraged to start in the back of the pack. T-shirts are only guaranteed for those who register by June 27th. There will be extra t-shirts ordered, but will be given out on a first come first serve basis. There will be trophies for overall male/female and 1, 2, 3 age group medals.

Parking/race day registration will be located at Rutland Elementary (1995 S. Rutland Rd in Mt. Juliet). On site registrants MUST sign a waiver at the registration table.

$35 day of race
A portion of the proceed will go towards The American Cancer Society.
